Fashion Show Project

Nevasca fashion runway: A Step Into The Future. All dresses are designed and produced under Sherlyn's management in her sister's house. It took her about 3 months to finish her very first project that was considered huge

December 2016 - Ausgust 2018

S.CLARS Brand

Sherlyn saw an opportunity in ready-to-wear label and decided to jump into the business. S.CLARS was online fashion retailer, despite the low preference towards online at the time, S.CLARS was able to gain wide recognition from national retailers, international magazine, and famous creative entertainment

May 2018

EMAAN Collaboration (Visual Merchandising)

As part of her Visual Merchandising assignment, Sherlyn had to propose to a brand to create a window display for them. She handed my proposal to Emaan and they approved. She created a theme of 'Warm Ramadhan' which was perfect timing as Eid Al Fitr was a month away, creating a sense of home and togetherness.

Cotton On Product Ranging

As part of her assignment, she and her team created a collection for Cotton On's menswear range. Through thorough trend analysis, suitable trends, silhouette, and colours were chosen for Cotton On's consumer. Commercial aspect were considered through product merchandising. Store layout were designed to attract buyers and boost sales.

Sportsgirl Tween Range (Buying)

In her Buying assignment, she and her team was to create buying plan for Sportsgirls tween range, choosing 2 from available 4 trends to carry forward. Each item was assessed to determine its commercial value, applicable margin, and quantity to stock. Afterwards, problems were analyzed to learn from.

Country Road Menswear Range
(Industry Collaboration)

in her TRI project, RMIT partnered with Country Road. Her team were assigned to thorough proposal for upcoming collection for Country Road menswear range. Versatility, functionality, and quality were emphasized here while still following Country Road's brand identity and serving their consumer. From trend analysis, material sourcing, products, both online and offline marketing, and pop-up store ideas were included.

All About Eve
(Digital Marketing Strategy)

All About Eve is an Australian brand having none offline store but widespread stockist. Sherlyn and her group went through thorough analyze of the brand, their strength and weaknesses, and the current trend between their customers, then provide recommendation to strengthen their digital presence

Early 2020

Topshop Marketing Strategy

As part of the Fashion Marketing Strategy assignment, Sherlyn and her team created a cohesive analysis to create the best suited marketing strategy according to the analysis result. Although she was only responsible for the macro environmental analysis and digital marketing strategy and budget, thorough review of other parts were conducted to create cohesive report.

Early 2020

Merchandise Management Report

In this report, Australian Fashion Retail business landscape was reviewed and analysed to look for gap that leads to business opportunity. Through research, it was found that modest fashion could be an opportunity within Australian Fashion business. This report explains it.
